Believe it or not, I didn't really watch Saved by the Bell all that much when I was growing up. The series ended while I was still in high school and I certainly wasn't interested in watching a show about high school then. It wasn't until years later that I started to see reruns and got to appreciate it for its silly goodness. Where else are you going to find high school students who can so regularly fool the principal? I somewhat identified with Zack, always trying to get the upper hand and many times failing to do so.
