Daily One Inch Button - Raw Pink Shrimp Sushi

Let's take a trip to a sushi restaurant, shall we? You're sitting in front of the conveyor belt, plate ready to receive your delicious sushi. You're not quite sure what you want to eat today but that's okay, because the conveyor belt has a plethora of goodies from which you can make your decision. All of a sudden, you see it: the raw pink shrimp sushi. It's almost as if it's just beaming up at you, wanting you to just snatch it up. All of a sudden, you see someone a little further down from you who looks like he may take it. You sneak a marble out of your pocket and throw it down on the floor where it makes a loud clatter, and by the time your competitor is done realizing what made the sound you already have the raw pink shrimp sushi on your plate. Daily One Inch Button - Sea Urchin Sushi

Not everyone is fond of the creamy consistency and a number of people are quite put off when they find out what part of the sea urchin is used to make sea urchin sushi. Let's keep this a family friendly site and not mention it too explicitly. This particular piece of sushi looks a little devilish, almost as though he is daring you to eat him. Some might say he is amused that he knows his true nature while everyone is sitting around eating him, oblivious to this.

Look at that lovely set of sushi. They're lined up like soldiers, ready to go onto your plate. I don't know about you but I love a well made California roll. Curiously enough, the first time I had them was when I visited California for the first time as a kid. I wonder if anyone has ever had a contest to see how many they could fit in their mouth at the same time.

No, this isn't Shrimpy Sushi - that would end up with one very full bear and no rice to boot. This is none other than the delectable shrimp sushi that people who don't keep kosher enjoy in droves. Daily One Inch Button - Happy Salmon

Here is the first button - the happy salmon! The other day, I was looking at some sushi online - I'm going to be visiting New York at the end of August and will get to go to my favorite sushi buffet restaurant. I was thinking how funny it would look if the sushi were smiling up at me.

Here is the first of a possible series of happy sushi - one of my favorites, salmon.
