Daily One Inch Button - Cactus

This is quite possibly the friendliest cactus that ever was.

All he really wants to do is give you a hug. Come on, give him a hug. Just wear a needle-proof suit while you're doing it.

Daily One Inch Button - Tako

This is the last sushi button... for now. It completes the first sushi set. To get them all, you actually have to live in Seattle because we're only selling the complete set of six in indie stores around here. Just how it is for now while we grow slowly.

Daily One Inch Button - Unagi

What can I say about Unagi, other than it's not kosher? This one is daring you to eat him. Eat me, he says. Eat me!

Daily One Inch Button - The Literate Walrus!

Oh goodness! This walrus is enjoying a good book. Don't worry, he won't spoil the new Harry Potter book if you haven't finished reading it. I know I haven't. See The Harry Potter Challenge for evidence.

Daily One Inch Button - Super Otaku! Nihon jin!

You liked yesterday's button but it wasn't Otaku enough for you? How about this? It still says Otaku, but in Japanese. Yeah.

Daily One Inch Button - Otaku

Sometimes you just want to tell the world how you feel about comics and video games.

Shout. Shout. Let it all out.

Daily One Inch Button - Salmon Egg Roll

Looks tasty, doesn't it?

I could just eat it right up.

Daily One Inch Button - Tamago!

When I was a kid I didn't understand how it was possible that egg could be made into anything other than scrambled eggs, eyes for a pancake, a hard boiled egg, or part of a baked good.

Ah, sushi. Mmm. Part two of a series. :)

Daily One Inch Button - Coffee!

Mmmmm... coffee. I'm not sure how I'd cope without you, friend. You are a friend, indeed.

Daily One Inch Button - Snape is Innocent

I know this guy, see. His name is Snape. I mean, his name is actually Sonny but people call him Snape for some reason. Some of his friends think that he stole the cookie from the cookie jar, but I'm pretty sure he's innocent. That's why I made this button.

Daily One Inch Button - Don't Steam Me!

Your broccoli would like to have words with you. It thinks you should try eating it raw for a change!

Daily One Inch Button - Traffic Light

Sometimes it feels like the traffic light really is egging you on like this when it turns yellow.

Wednesday, July 11, 2007

Today's button!

We're so sorry.

The button of the day is running really late!

Someone in our art department forgot that in this country, blue is not the light at the bottom of a traffic light - green is!

Just a little hint of the button you will be seeing tomorrow, G_d willing.

Daily One Inch Button - Happy Salmon

Here is the first button - the happy salmon! The other day, I was looking at some sushi online - I'm going to be visiting New York at the end of August and will get to go to my favorite sushi buffet restaurant. I was thinking how funny it would look if the sushi were smiling up at me.

Here is the first of a possible series of happy sushi - one of my favorites, salmon.

As soon as I can, I will have some photos of the button "in action" as it were.

You can order one or a hundred if you want - e-mail me if you're planning on going towards the latter and we'll work out a bulk discount deal. :)

A button every day?

That's what we're hoping for, anyhow. One inch buttons that you can wear or give as gifts.

Why not bigger than one inch? We figure that one inch is just about how much you need to concisely express an idea.

Why a blog and not a "real" web site - the blog format is perfect for the notion of posting one new button just about every day - we'll do the best we can. Let us know what you think.

We're going to roll out the first button sometime this week and will be using the paypal shopping technology for ease of use. :)
