Have you ever seen a man dance on the ceiling? Fred Astaire could. Never mind the time when video footage of him was resurrected to sell mops. This man really could dance - and Ginger Rogers would tell you that too.The American Film Institute called him the fifth greatest male star of all time. Most people will say that he has had some of the greatest impact on musicals in their entire history.
Sadly, he passed away in 1987 - but not before living a wonderful long life.
