Daily One Inch Button - Sea Urchin Sushi

Not everyone is fond of the creamy consistency and a number of people are quite put off when they find out what part of the sea urchin is used to make sea urchin sushi. Let's keep this a family friendly site and not mention it too explicitly. This particular piece of sushi looks a little devilish, almost as though he is daring you to eat him. Some might say he is amused that he knows his true nature while everyone is sitting around eating him, oblivious to this.

Daily One Inch Button - Zack Morris

Believe it or not, I didn't really watch Saved by the Bell all that much when I was growing up. The series ended while I was still in high school and I certainly wasn't interested in watching a show about high school then. It wasn't until years later that I started to see reruns and got to appreciate it for its silly goodness. Where else are you going to find high school students who can so regularly fool the principal? I somewhat identified with Zack, always trying to get the upper hand and many times failing to do so. Oh, Zack.

Daily One Inch Button - Turntable

When I was a young lad, my brother and I would take really old records from the cheap bins at the Princeton Record Exchange and make scratch experimentations with them. We wanted to be like Run DMC but we usually sounded like two white kids in West Windsor, scratching cheap records.

Daily One Inch Button - Audrey Hepburn

Although her acting career began with an educational series on learning Dutch, Audrey Hepburn is a bit better known for her roles in films such as Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany's. She remains an inspiration to men and women around the world. Have you seen Breakfast at Tiffany's?

Daily One Inch button - Fatty Blue Tail Sushi

That is some fat blue tail sushi. Not that anyone has ever complained about weight issues due to the consumption of blue tail sushi - that I'm aware of, anyhow. How do you like your blue tail sushi? It's scrumdidlyumptious.

Daily One Inch Button - Alex P Keaton

For me, Alex Keaton was a hero. He stood up to his parents when he felt that he was in the right and, at an age when I was constantly trying to come up with businesses that would "make it big", Alex was there to say, "Hey; Capitalism is Awesome." Would he have voted for GWB? I somehow doubt it. This is the first in the Family Ties series.

Daily One Inch Button - Old Style Phone

For some people, this mobile phone is the definition of old. For most of us, this style of phone was not used in our lifetimes. When I was a kid we actually owned a rotary phone but it certainly wasn't like this one. What a cheerful phone it is, though.

Daily One Inch Button - Vampire Bear Bee!

If you're following the series Learn to Read Hebrew with Vampire Bear, you'll surely see that the latest lesson involves the letter beis and this scary bee that is there to help Vampire Bear teach you about the letter. Vampire Bear is easily frightened, apparently. Then again, the thought of a bee sting scares me, too.

Daily One Inch Button - Sammy Davis Jr.

Did you know that up until 1967, interracial marriage was illegal in thirty-one states? Sammy Davis Jr., one of the founders of the Rat Pack and one of the hardest working people in show business, endured tremendously from racist attacks; this was especially the case after he married May Britt. This did not detract from the fact that he was a brilliantly talented musician and performer and is one of my favorites.
