Did you know that up until 1967, interracial marriage was illegal in thirty-one states? Sammy Davis Jr., one of the founders of the Rat Pack and one of the hardest working people in show business, endured tremendously from racist attacks; this was especially the case after he married May Britt. This did not detract from the fact that he was a brilliantly talented musician and performer and is one of my favorites.$1.00
