Sometimes it is the smallest things that can keep a person happy.I was most pleased the other day when I managed to remember this poem by Edna St. Vincent Mallay:
Safe upon the solid stone the ugly houses stand
Come and see my shining palace built upon the sand
They say that it is good to have a few poems memorized. One of my grade school teachers challeneged me to memorize The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll.
I still haven't managed to get that one down.
